Long Shot Hoops FAQ
What is Long Shot Hoops?
Long Shot is a free daily basketball trivia game by The Gravity Report. You get seven NBA prompts with 25 seconds each, and rarer correct answers score more.
What time does Long Shot reset?
Every day at midnight Eastern Time (America/New_York), including daylight-saving changes.
How is Long Shot scored?
Each accepted answer has a preset value; obvious answers score a few points and rare answers score more, up to 100 for a Buzzer Beater. One point equals one foot. See scoring.
What is the maximum score?
700 points (700 ft): a 100-point Buzzer Beater on each of the seven prompts.
Do wrong answers end the round?
No. Only an accepted answer ends the round. Wrong guesses just let the clock keep running.
Where is my streak saved?
In your browser’s local storage. Different browsers, devices, private mode or embedded vs. original may keep separate records.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The game runs in mobile browsers. Use the Fullscreen button for more space.
Is longshothoops.net the official site?
No. This is an independent fan site that embeds the original game and adds guides. The game belongs to The Gravity Report.
Do you publish daily answers?
No. We publish strategy and rules only, so the daily puzzle stays fun for everyone.
